Stephanie started reading tarot over 20 years ago and grew up reading about folklore, astrology and the supernatural.
Stephanie mostly uses tarot de marseille and runes but is well-versed in a variety of divination methods. She has a B.A. in Anthropology and a Master's in information management. She also is a Reiki practitioner in the Punk Reiki lineage, practices energy work and folk magic.
Stephanie started reading tarot over twenty years ago and has been studying tarot de marseille for a decade. She reads both Tarot de Marseille decks and Rider Waite Smith and uses several other divination methods when the situation calls for it.
Her childhood was filled with stories of her great grandmother who read tea leaves on her porch, a grandmother who was friends with famed astrologer Linda Goodman. It was also full of books on astrology, dreams, paranormal phenomena and folklore that she read voraciously. She continues to study and learn on the multitude of divination practices.
Stephanie also studied Anthropology at Loyola University Chicago and Information Management in Information Science at Wayne State University. She uses data and visual language to translate information in ways that people can understand easily.
She also is a practitioner of folk magic, reiki, qi gong, and energy healing.
Stephanie feels strongly that tarot, divination and various metaphysical practices should be mindful of appropriation, and lift the voices of traditionally marginalized groups, such as ethnic and racial minorities and LGBTQ+ communities.
Stephanie practices divination in honor of her great-grandmother who read tea leaves, her Romani ancestors, and her Irish ancestors.
